PPSR Notice - Outage - Daylight Saving Time change

The PPSR will be unavailable on Sunday 5 April 2026 from 1:30 am AEDT to 3:05 am AEST. The total outage time will be 2 hours 35 minutes.    

This outage allows for the change from Daylight Saving Time to Standard Time. This ensures the time sensitive nature of the PPSR remains preserved during the transition.

Important Notice - ASIC verification

The Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) has a planned outage on Saturday 28 March 2026 from 8:00 am to 11:59 pm (Canberra time).

During this outage:

  • PPSR searches using an ASIC identifier may not return associated names
  • PPSR registrations using an ASIC identifier may not include associated names.

Please note: The absence of the name associated with the ASIC identifier from a PPSR search certificate or verification statement does not affect the data on the PPSR in relation to security interests. The PPSR does not provide refunds when ASIC information is not available.

    Search by organisation grantor

    The organisation identifier you are searching against must be in accordance with the grantor identification rules in the PPS Regulations.

    You are required to select the identifier type you wish to search by and enter the corresponding identifier. The PPSR will only search for security interests registered against that identifier under the selected identifier type. 

    Searching against multiple identifier types (e.g. the ACN and ABN) would require multiple searches on the PPSR. Rules about the identification of organisational grantors for PPSR can be found in the PPS Regulations.

    Use of the PPSR is subject to the PPS Register General Conditions of Use, applicable Third Party Data Conditions and the appropriate fees.

    ARSN means Australian Registered Scheme Number. Used for Managed Investment Scheme grantors with ARSNs.

    ARFN means Australian Registered Fund Number. Used for Corporate Collective Investment Vehicle sub-fund grantors with ARFNs.
